Fun with a light box
I know next to nothing about photography. I have a very mediocre camera. So, naturally, I made a light box! I was shocked at the results.
Perfect? No! but I'm pretty happy. If you know nothing about photography, give it a try it's fun.

Dear Marco
So I started this blog an hour ago. If you've been paying attention(doubt it!) I've changed the quote in the header three times. All quotes from "White Heat" by Marco Pierre White. The guy has been an inspiration to me; so why not put one of the many inspirational quotes from this book as my header? I did, but I had a hard time deciding on which one. Every time I turned the page I found a new quote. So my very first post, on my very first blog will be a list of my favorite quotes from this very passionate man/cook/chef/now restaurateur.
"...Use your fingers, I don't care if you burn them, you weren't given fingers not to burn them. Quickly quickly quickly..." Service at Harveys
"I have done nothing apart from cook for the last ten years. I've had no social life to speak of, no real time to myself and there's been a lot of pain and suffering getting here. One day I'll go France; that'll be my finishing school. Now it's time to make money, because no money, no love no food." My "French" chef loves this quote.
"I would say my style is not artistic, but graphic. It's honest, it's classical, it's natural, it's simple."
I'll finish with my favorite Marco Quote,
"If I came to your house for dinner an hour late, the criticized all your furniture and your wife's haircut and said all your opinions were stupid, how would you feel? People still come here and expect a three-course meal in an hour. What do they think I do - pull rabbits out of a fucking hat? I'm not a magician."
So thats it. My first blog post ever!
Up next will probably be a dish from "White Heat."
P.S. I'm still learning how to do a lot of this blogging stuff, you can find the book here,
"White Heat."
